Restaurant POS and credit card processing in Naples

Season decides your year in Naples. Your processing costs shouldn't get bigger every time your sales do.

In Naples, Marco Island and Bonita Springs, a few months of high season carry the whole year. That makes processing fees a bigger line than most owners expect, because a percentage fee grows with every busy night. Celt Payments installs Lavu POS with a cash discount program designed to take that cost off your margin.

Percentage fees scale with season

Card fees are charged as a percentage of what you sell, so your best months are also your most expensive ones to process. A card mix heavy in premium rewards cards pushes the effective rate up further. With our program, your menu price is your card price and customers paying cash or debit receive a discount at the point of sale, so the cost of card acceptance stops scaling against your margin. Nobody pays more than the posted price.

A switch scheduled around season

Changing POS is the number one hesitation we hear, and in Naples it's about timing. We handle the menu build and data migration ourselves and schedule the cutover around your slow period, never mid-rush and never mid-season if we can avoid it. Staff training is typically a single shift.

Prove it before you commit

If you aren't ready to replace your whole system, the Adyen S1F2 runs the discount program on its own next to your existing POS. Run one station for sixty days, and Marty AI measures the difference against a baseline built from your own last three statements. You decide with a number.

Security your guests expect

Payments run on Adyen, a PCI DSS Level 1 processor. Card data is encrypted at the terminal and tokenized at rest, so raw card numbers never reach your POS or your Wi-Fi.

The handhelds we install for Naples restaurants

Two ways to take payment at the table, both on Adyen processing. Pick one, or run both on the same floor.

Adyen S1F2 handheld terminal. Tap, chip, swipe and phone wallets, with a printer built in so the receipt is handed over at the table. Charges over USB-C. It runs the cash discount program on its own: staff key the amount in and your existing POS stays where it is. If you move to Lavu later, the same hardware carries across.

The S1F2 shows credit, debit and cash as three separate buttons, and we set the display and receipt wording to the card network and state rules that apply to you. Amounts on the terminal screen are illustrative. You can also prove it on one station for sixty days on the S1F2 before changing anything else.

Is a cash discount program legal in Florida?

Florida's former statutory ban on credit card surcharging has been held unconstitutional, and cash discount programs are widely used by Florida restaurants. Our program is structured as a discount from one posted price, so nobody pays more than the menu price, and we configure the terminal display and receipt wording to current card network rules. Confirm your specific setup with your acquirer or your own advisor. The full answer is in our FAQ.
