Restaurant POS and payment processing in West Palm Beach

Already in a contract? Check what it lets your processor change, and prove the savings on one station before you commit to anything.

West Palm Beach · Palm Beach · Boca Raton  ·  Celt Payments

Many Palm Beach County restaurants are mid-contract with a processor they didn't choose on price. Celt Payments helps you see what that contract is actually costing, and lets you prove an alternative on one station before you change anything.

Your rate can change mid-contract

Most merchant agreements let the processor change rates during the term on written notice, and continuing to process counts as acceptance. Several major providers raised merchant rates in 2026, and we track the documented changes in Fee Watch. When your POS software and your processing are one contract, you can't shop the rate without replacing the whole system.

A 60-day pilot on one station

  1. We set the baseline. Your last three processing statements, worked out to a real effective rate.
  2. You run one station. Sixty days on the Adyen S1F2, with your POS, menu and reporting unchanged.
  3. Marty AI measures it. The difference against your baseline, in writing, from the transactions you actually ran.
  4. You decide with a number. If the savings aren't there, you've lost a pilot. If they are, the next step is yours.

When you're ready for the full system

Lavu POS is quoted per location in three tiers, Starter, Growth and Optimize, and every tier includes the cash and debit discount program, Adyen processing and 24/7 support. We'll tell you which one you actually need, which is usually not the top one. For groups, Optimize adds kitchen display, Marty AI across locations and accounting integrations such as QuickBooks, Xero and Restaurant365.

The handhelds we install for West Palm Beach restaurants

Two ways to take payment at the table, both on Adyen processing. Pick one, or run both on the same floor.

Adyen S1F2 handheld terminal showing credit at the posted price and debit and cash at the discounted price
Adyen S1F2 handheld terminal. Tap, chip, swipe and phone wallets, with a printer built in so the receipt is handed over at the table. Charges over USB-C. It runs the cash discount program on its own: staff key the amount in and your existing POS stays where it is. If you move to Lavu later, the same hardware carries across.

Lavu handheld with the Adyen NYC1 card reader. The full Lavu POS menu on an iPad mini in a rugged case, with the NYC1 reader attached magnetically to the back and paired over Bluetooth. It takes tap, chip and swipe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The S1F2 shows credit, debit and cash as three separate buttons, and we set the display and receipt wording to the card network and state rules that apply to you. Amounts on the terminal screen are illustrative. You can also prove it on one station for sixty days on the S1F2 before changing anything else.

Is a cash discount program legal in Florida?

Florida's former statutory ban on credit card surcharging has been held unconstitutional, and cash discount programs are widely used by Florida restaurants. Our program is structured as a discount from one posted price, so nobody pays more than the menu price, and we configure the terminal display and receipt wording to current card network rules. Confirm your specific setup with your acquirer or your own advisor. The full answer is in our FAQ.
